History

L. & M. Precision Products Inc. was founded in 1962 by Ralph E. Lake and Mike Mahoney, as L. & M. Screw machine Products Ltd. In 2000 the company was renamed as L. & M. Precision Products Inc. to better reflect the nature of its products.

Initially located at 66 Milvan Dr. (Toronto) in 1962 with a staff of 20, the company continuously expanded capabilities, machines and employees, which resulted in relocation to larger premises at 130 Milvan Dr. in 1977..

In 2000 L. & M. Precision Products Inc. moved into their current location at 150 Milvan Dr.  Three separate buildings were renovated to arrive at one large, fully structured precision production facility of 50,000 sq. ft.  This current facility is capable of housing the current staff of 70+ employees, over 70 first-operation screw machines, as well as secondary operations, quality assurance, shipping, and storage equipment and operations.

Perhaps the most significant development in the history of the company is that today, the employees are shareholders and wholly own the company.  Commitment to producing top-quality results for their customers is the vision and promise of the L. & M. Precision Products Inc. employees/shareholders.
